Results has established itself as one of the leading boutique mid-market banks in both the Healthcare and Technology sectors. Deal flow is strong and our team members are able to accelerate their careers through gaining experience at pace.  We’ve closed a significant number of deals during lock down and this is set to continue into next year.

We are currently offering a great opportunity to join us in London as an Associate to develop your career in technology M&A. One of our key success factors is our proven passion, enthusiasm, and drive to work in these exciting growth sectors. So being able to demonstrate this as an applicant will be all-important.

As an Associate in the team, you will already have honed your M&A skills in a similar environment, and want to gain or develop a sector specialisation, or you may wish to get into M&A, having had good exposure and experience either in transaction services or in-house. Either way, a boutique advisory firm is your planned next step.

In the tech team you will be collaborating immediately on deals, working closely with a VP or Director and Partner in a deal team, responsible for supporting all elements of the process as well as managing significant workstreams on your own. With significant client exposure and the need to develop relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external, this role carries a high degree of responsibility towards deal success.

You’ll hone your research and client-facing skills in understanding your sector fully; with a high level of attention to detail, financial and people skills alongside you’ll fit seamlessly into the team and your priority will be to learn as much as possible from the talented people around you.

Many of our team members stay with us longer than the industry average. We pay particular attention to how you can develop both your career and your skill set. This boutique is not one to ensure you ‘serve your time’, it will move you along your career trajectory as quickly as you can progress.

Our culture is corporate finance with personality – we work to high standards but find time to have fun together too; social events (including the annual ski trip) are the norm. We are collaborative and collegiate and never compete internally; only externally and in pitches.

So, if a big faceless investment bank is not for you, yet a career in corporate‎ finance is, this is exactly your opportunity and you should apply right now. When applying, please explain in a covering letter why you are suited to this role, and what you think you can bring to the firm. Applications without covering letters are extremely unlikely to be considered.

Life before CG Results: Early years in Huenxe, a small town near Dusseldorf, was followed by a very science focussed academic route. Deciding a lab wasn’t for me though, despite completing my PhD, didn’t take too long and I became increasingly keen on combining science with something more commercial so applied to CG Results and […]
