Corporate Finance (M&A Advisory) Director or Senior VP – Healthcare

Recently joining forces with Canaccord Genuity CG Results has one of the largest specialist mid-market healthcare teams in London boutique investment banking, CG Results has a compelling proposition to both clients and potential team members and the merger has further strengthened our platform. We are now CG Results and comprise the Technology and Healthcare team in the CG advisory practice, remaining in our own offices in Fitzrovia.

A recent promotion to Partner and another to MD has created an opportunity to join the team at a senior level. Our success lies in having a team of highly experienced advisory team members with strong deal sheets in either an advisory boutique or a successful big 4 practice and this is exactly what we are looking for. Unfortunately, pure buy-side or working as an FD would not be sufficient experience for this role.

Healthcare is not a pre-requisite although a curiosity and interest in the space is. You might see this as an ideal time to begin to specialise in a sector in a counter-cyclical sector which has proven very buoyant and will continue to be, namely healthcare and life sciences. It is hard to rival both our creds and deal flow in this space, which will lead to you quickly assimilating the market for yourself.

You’ll take full day-to-day responsibility for deals, from strategy and tactics at the pitch, developing strong relationships with the key client team members and working with VP’s, Associates and Analysts to ensure the deal progresses as it should, managing all key stakeholders along the way. There is, as you would expect, significant client contact and your interpersonal skills along with technical competence need to be strong.

You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the healthcare team and develop your own interest and knowledge of your own sub-sector working with other team members to further business development efforts with both clients and private equity. However this role is primarily execution but with the opportunity to business develop alongside when the opportunity arises for which we also offer strong development.
