Marketing Manager – B2B, M&A, corporate finance, professional services
CG Results, the leading corporate finance boutique advisor to the technology and healthcare sectors, has a rare opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join the team.
Growth over the last five years has seen the business grow to 40 people in London with a further team in New York. The deals we advise on, to both entrepreneurs, corporates and private equity have increased exponentially in terms of both value and volume and most recently our brand refresh & website re-development has created an extraordinary opportunity to take our marketing to the next stage.
Excitingly, this is a stand-alone role, part of Corporate Solutions but working closely with the Partner group and the whole team to achieve the next period of growth and market awareness. Working with a group of partner agencies to support the marketing drive you’ll be responsible for planning and executing all marketing budgets and activities, a large part of which will be driven by your ideas on how to continue to deliver stronger impact.
Active across most forms of marketing your plan is likely to comprise events; anything from round table dinners and webinars to breakfast briefings and Partner speaking engagements, digital presence and communication to both ‘one and many’, content production and delivery, brand management and how we present to the outside world, including influencers, existing clients and of course both potential clients and team members.
To make this a good match for both sides you’ll be an experienced marketeer, with several years of evidenced marketing success in a business-to-business environment. Any experience of marketing M&A is ideal but similar experience in a professional services business would also be an advantage.
A keenness to understand and immerse yourself in the sectors the business works in is very important, so you can more ably drive editorial content ideas and events. Experience of our sectors would be a bonus but a willingness and interest to learn will be far more important. You’ll certainly have the capacity to work with and influence team members, be unfailingly positive, calm under pressure, with a good speed of operation as well as good attention to detail.
