CG Results, recently acquired by and soon to be fully known as Canaccord Genuity, the leading mid-market investment bank, is a very successful growth M&A business now forming a significant part of the European investment banking team at CG.

Focussed on two sectors of excellence, Healthcare and Technology we have a distinct and enduring culture, strong deal flow and are really excited about the recent merger and our capacity to do even more exciting cross-border deals at scale.

Excitingly, the Marketing Specialist role is a stand-alone role, both working as a key member of our close-knit corporate solutions team and widely with all the senior MD’s helping them implement their business development and sector marketing plans.

You’ll be involved in and co-ordinating everything marketing from events to managing our CRM, managing the brand whilst liaising closely with our global marketing teams, managing key projects as well as attending and contributing to internal new business and marketing strategy meetings. Like most of our other team members in corporate finance no two days are likely to be the same. One week you may be running a client breakfast briefing, discussing an email marketing campaign with MD’s and your counterparts in the US, designing an email invite and working to a deadline with an important deal announcement.

You’ll have a few years’ experience across a breadth of marketing, ideally in a regulated and certainly professional services environment, and now be ready to branch out on your own working closely with a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll be good at building relationships internally, own a strong project management skill set and the capacity to follow things through to completion. You’ll be very confident and pro-active and keen to develop your career in banking or financial services.

Experience and an interest in CRM as a tool to drive business is important, along with great Excel skills  but a keen enthusiasm for every element of events (working with our PA team finding venues, making arrangements, sourcing and managing suppliers) is equally vital including managing sponsors, speakers and overseeing and driving all our sector and client events. Your strengths will include strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work. Delivering excellent work will be important to you. You’ll like the idea of working with a small team of forty professionals but part of a wider platform and the opportunities to develop that brings.

CG Results offers a unique culture in the world of corporate finance. The team enjoys coming to work every day as well as socialising together (we’re especially excited about our summer event in June) – it’s all about working together to achieve our goals but if you’ve already read our website, you’ll know that.

Along with our exceptional working environment (currently hybrid) we offer a competitive salary, annual bonus, healthcare, pension, 25 days holiday and a very supportive and friendly team with regular social events the norm.

If this sounds like a great move for you, please drop us a covering note with your CV saying why you would like to join us and what skills you can bring.

Life before CG Results: Early years in Huenxe, a small town near Dusseldorf, was followed by a very science focussed academic route.
