Abacus has been acquired by DRG

Founded in 1995, Abacus International is one of the largest and most established health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) and market access consultancies in Europe.

SITUATION
With a leading edge, global service offering, the company’s deliverables traverse both the technical and commercial aspects of market access across entire product lifecycles. Being one of the few remaining independent market access consultancies in Europe, Abacus had attracted a number of approaches in the past few years due to the strong M&A appetite for best-in-class market access businesses in the sector. Abacus appointed CG Results International after running a competitive process.

OPPORTUNITY
Abacus was seeking a partner to leverage its unique proposition, take advantage of a growing market opportunity and achieve a step change in its business growth.
