Results International is pleased to announce that it was the exclusive financial advisor to QinetiQ, a FTSE 250 multinational defence technology company, on the sale of its software business Boldon James to HelpSystems, a US-based provider of cybersecurity and automation software backed by TA Associates.

Boldon James is a global provider of data protection software solutions, that make sure that sensitive information is classified properly and secured, as well as military-grade secure email messaging solutions. Adding Boldon James’ solutions to HelpSystems’ security portfolio establishes a leading platform in data classification and meets the needs of customers for a comprehensive, powerful suite of data security options.

This transaction highlights Results International’s exceptional track record of achieving excellent outcomes for software businesses as well as extending its experience in cybersecurity.

This process was run against a background of economic uncertainty, to an exceptionally tight deadline and was an entirely virtual deal.

Results have really surpassed our expectations in all aspects...they ran a highly competitive, efficient process that achieved an excellent outcome for us with the best partner for the business in only seven weeks. In this economic climate particularly, this is very impressive.
