After a significant slowdown in M&A volumes in Q2, deal activity rebounded significantly in Q3 across all the tech sectors we track, and valuations have been at pre-Covid levels. Deal activity has been driven by publicly listed strategic buyers, who continue to look to M&A to drive growth, and by continued strong levels of investment by private equity (directly and through portfolio companies).
